Some years ago, I had a dream last night that I was the social director of a huge hotel resort and I had to find Valentine's dinner dates for several celebrities. When I was almost to the end of my list, I found the only two left were Lawrence Block and Jennifer Lawrence so I said what the hell. The next day, they informed me that I was the greatest match-maker in history and they had gotten married right after dinner.
Try as I might, I was never able to integrate this into any kind of work of fiction. The potential is there, but I'm just not the person to make it work. It was an amusing dream, though.
