Anyway, here's what I had published in 2016, with links where appropriate.
Comics:
MYTHOS: LOVECRAFT'S WORLDS, four individual comic issues, then collected into a trade paperback. With artist Hugo Petrus, published by Caliber Comics. This is a book that was a long time coming, has a ridiculously convoluted history and came out wonderfully. I hope you pick up a copy and let me know what you think.
A short story called "Of Consequence", with artist Leigh Walls in the second volume of the MEMOIRS OF THE MYSTERIOUS anthology.
A short story called "Episode 666", with artist Stephen Sistelli in issue #2 of Ravenwood Quarterly Magazine.
Prose:
THE CASTLE-TOWN TRAGEDY, a hardcover collection of three Carnacki, the Ghost-Finder novellas I wrote, published by Dunham's Manor Press. January, 2016. This is a book of which I am exceptionally proud. It has some of my best published writing to date, a beautiful cover and three beautiful illustrations (one for each story) by Dave Felton and is my first work published in hardcover.
WINNING! A GUIDE TO GAMES THAT NEVER WERE, an anthology of video-game themed stories that I edited for Raven Warren Publishing and had two stories in, as well. March, 2016.
"Obsessive", a flash fiction that won 50-Word Stories' weekly writing contest for the first week of January, 2016.
"Score", a short horror story in Jitter Magazine #4 (that I never got a copy of and which has seemingly disappeared from Amazon). April, 2016.
"Tiny Little Twists", a crime flash fiction published by The Flash Fiction Press. June, 2016.
An untitled micro-fiction that appeared in Six Word Surf Noir in CHUM Magazine. June, 2016.
"Christmas Eve in Arkham", a horror short story that appeared in Ravenwood Quarterly Magazine #1. August, 2016.
"So You're Stuck in a Time-Loop", sci-fi short story that appeared in 9Tales Magazine #7 early in the year and was published again as a reprint by QuickFic Digital Publishing online. (Unsure about 9Tales Magazine, as I don't have a copy of the magazine, but QFD published the reprint online in October).
I've also been serializing a horror novella, "Nervosa" (currently at around 12k words, projected to reach around 15k), and a literary novel, KINDLING DAYS (currently at around 25k words), on textnovel.com. "Nervosa" should be finished in the next three or so months. KINDLING DAYS will continue until the story is completed.
Poetry:
An untitled quatrain that appeared in quatrain.fish magazine, April, 2016.
"Beyond; Goodbye", a poem that appeared in issue 15 of Stray Branch Magazine, September (?), 2016.
So that's four individual comic issues, a graphic novel/collection, two comic short stories, two prose books, seven individual short stories and two poems for 2016, not including the serialized works.
Tomorrow, I'll post a little bit about what's coming in 2017.
Happy New Year!
