Let's do a little wrap up for the year.

- “Linger,” flash fiction, Shotgun Honey, December, 2024
- “The Good, the Bad, And the Other,” flash fiction, Guilty Flash, December, 2024
So twelve short stories works out to one a month averaging out. Not too bad. My story "Sleep Rough" published last year was also nominated for a Derringer Award. Sadly, I did not win, but who knows what next year will bring?
Two crime stories and a supernatural mystery (one NOT featuring Azuma Kuromori) scheduled to be published this year haven't yet, so fingers crossed it won't be long into 2025 before they are.
I also had published the first Sam Harrigan novel And Of Course, There Was the Girl back in the spring and just this month, a romance novel I wrote from someone else's notes was published (under a joint pen-name I chose)--Pucked Over.
And on a personal level, this has been one of the most difficult--one of the worst--years of my entire life. But I'm still here and I'm still trying, so here's hoping 2025 will be even more productive.
